Apokryfo is a fine Boutique Hotel in the Village of Lofou, situated in the lower slopes of Troodos Mountains. As the name Apokryfo depicts , hidden or kept secret , the hotel is at the villages' borders and one cannot imagine what lies behind the stone walls. A secret hideaway in a unique concept.The owners, being architect and interior designers, have transformed ruins from village houses into a fabulous mountain resort near Limassol. The fruits of this great effort are a magnificent hotel, in a context full of history, craftsmanship and tradition.

The Guest rooms are made of suites, one room studios and two and three bedroom houses. Each of the beautifully designed rooms, is decorated with tasteful furnishings, crafted furniture and include state of the art comforts and amenities.There are different names for each room type. Lavender, Olive, Walnut and Pomegranite, are the guest suites that have kitchenette and balcony.Studios which are larger rooms, have a private courtyard and are named Almond and Gate house.The bigger houses, Sterna, Archontiko, and School masters' House are appropriate for families or group of friends. They have separate bedrooms, private courtyards, fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens.All of the rooms and suites are equipped with individually controlled air condition and heating, flat screen TV's with International channels, CD and DVD players, Free Wi-Fi Internet , direct dial phones , king size beds and in bathroom amenities.

The Agrino restaurant, named after the Moufflon of Cyprus, serves Cyprus specialities with local products  and in the summer months dinner can be served outside by the pool or at the rooftop terrace overlooking the quiet village of Lofou.Breakfast includes locally baked bread and home made preserves. The wine selection is mostly Mediterranean and the bottles are kept in the underground cellar Sterna. As per the name, this was a 19th century, rain water storage chamber and the cool temperatures and natural humidity are the best conditions for this wine selection.A fully equipped gym is at guest's discretion to use for a little in house exercise whereas beauty and massage treatments are available with an appointment. Sauna and steam bath are complimentary and a moment at the Spa can be quite rewarding after hiking in the area.The Library has board games, maps and books for the area as well as a DVD selection.

The Apokryfo team is organizing painting lessons, cookery classes, wine tasting, cycling and mountain hiking. The village of Lofou being near Limassol, sailing trips can be an outing option as well. Golf courses are within 30 minutes drive from the hotel for golfers. The hotel is an ideal venue for r as well for special events such as christenings and weddings. The courtyard and pool area accommodates approximately 100 guests. Small groups and meetings of up to 30 delegates are accommodated in the Makrinari function room.The Apokryfo is a tranquil hotel, where one may travel alone, in couple or with friends.
